The Big Trunk Trail which aims to showcase the ‘unexpected treasures’ of Luton begins on 10^th July and will run until 8^th October to help raise funds for Keech Hospice Care.

Toffe Apple Productions, a Bedford Musical Theatre Company, will be performing Tell Me on a Sunday in a special outdoor performance this June.

Bedford’s Tom Grennan, returned to his home town over the bank holiday weekend and visited the FatCap Smokehouse on Castle Lane where there is a cocktail named after him. 

Like many of the region’s big events, Bedfringe had to be cancelled for this year and while plans are in place to bring it back in 2021, financial losses have meant that this isn’t a certainty without your help.

Rather than cancel Bedford’s annual children’s book festival, organisers of Book Tastic have decided to take the event online.

According to historians, the concept of an Afternoon Tea began in Bedfordshire when the Duchess of Bedford demanded pots of tea and finger foods to be brought to her and her guests in the afternoons. From then on the idea of having Afternoon Tea was born. With this in mind, we can’t not encourage you to celebrate National Tea Day now can we?

St Patrick might be the patron saint of Ireland and not Bedfordshire, but that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate! The Luton Irish Forum have once again teamed up with the Culture Trust to produce 2020’s St Patrick Festival, with the musical performances taking place at the Hat Factory in Luton.
