Christmas will be here before you know it and after everything that 2020 has thrown at us, we’re all due a party come the festive season. If you’re in the mood to see the year out with a bang, make sure to take a look at the party packages on offer from the Waterfront Hotel.

One way we can get through this lockdown is by having a movie marathon and with so many streaming sites and films appearing on TV these days, why not see if you can spot recognisable Bedfordshire locations while you watch them? Here are a few films that were made in Bedfordshire to get you started!

Flitwick’s train station is one of several rail stations to benefit from a government grant to make accessibility improvements. The funding will provide new lifts and a new footbridge at the station, with the announcement being made in the station’s 150^th anniversary year.

Just because you’re unable to visit some of Bedfordshire’s top attractions or spending too long outside in the county’s countryside right now, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy an adventure or two. You might remember a few weeks ago Woburn Safari Park were on the hunt for inspiration to name the park's newest arrivals, some baby squirrel monkeys. Well, after being inundated with responses, they have now announced that the monkeys have been named. 

Due to the ongoing crisis surrounding the outbreak of the coronavirus, Wyboston Lakes resort has closed until further notice following government requirements and has offered up their facilities to the NHS to use during this time.

Spring is a great time of year to explore the various parks and gardens around the county, not only do we have the birds tweeting as they start making their nests but the spring flowers are in full bloom and the landscapes and are a mass of colour. Bedfordshire has a number of lovely green spaces to visit, so we’ve put together five options of gardens to visit at this time of year.
