Whipsnade Zoo

You can find Father Christmas at Whipsnade Zoo all the way up to 24th December. He’ll be hanging out at Lookout Lodge as part of the zoo’s Christmas festivities, where you can share breakfast with the man himself, unleash you creative side with their festive crafts and make some Christmas treats for the animals!

Wardown House

Old Bedford Road, Luton LU2 7HA

It isn’t just Father Christmas appearing at Wardown between 9th and 23rd December – you can also enjoy story time with Mother Christmas and meet the elves. Each child will get a special gift and refreshments in the café afterwards.

Forest Centre

Forest Centre, Millennium Country Park, Marston Moretaine MK43 0PR

How about combining a visit to Father Christmas with breakfast? With tasty food to start your day and the chance to chat to the man himself, book your spot on 10th December.

Leighton Buzzard Railway


Pages Park Station, Billington Road, Leighton Buzzard LU7 4TG

Running from 2nd – 24th December, you can hop on board the Santa Express for a special trip along the railway to Santa’s Grotto as part of the station’s steam specials.

Dunstable Downs


Whipsnade Road, Dunstable LU6 2GY

As part of the National Trust’s Christmas events calendar, there are a host of things going on at Dunstable Downs for the whole family to enjoy. A festive family trail will run every day from 15th – 23rd December, while Festive Afternoon Tea and lunches will be available throughout the week, as well as a chance to have breakfast with the elves.

Turvey House

There is a chance to see Father Christmas and his wife at Turvey House on 9th and 10th December. After you’ve met them, make sure to head to the courtyard where you can join in some fun activities.

Mead Open Farm

Follow the walkthrough and test how naughty or nice you’ve been before meeting Father Christmas in his grotto. There will also be a chance to make reindeer food, decorate gingerbread and more, all alongside the usual fun and games.

Olde Watermill Shopping Centre

Barton, Mill Lane, Faldo Road, Barton-le-Clay MK45 4RF

Here you can enjoy a 50 minute Santa experience! Not only are Father and Mother Christmas there but you’ll also get to meet some of their elves and Rudolph!
