Bedfordshire Ramblers are delighted to announce the first Bedfordshire Festival of Autumn Walks. The Festival, offering over 30 walks, will run over a 9 day period between the 9th and 17th Sept 2023.

There is a plethora of walks on offer to suit all over the period - long walks, short walks, well-being and interest walks. Walks are scheduled in the mornings and afternoons in addition to all day walks. Most of the walks do not require booking. Walks take place over the length and breadth of Bedfordshire – join us for one (or more) walks and explore our beautiful little county on foot.

The festival is being run with the cooperation of the four groups that make up Bedfordshire, namely Leighton Buzzard, North Beds, Lea and Icknield (Luton) and Ivel Valley Walkers.

A couple of highlights to look out for – ever been on the John Bunyan Boat? Why not join us for a day trip combining a walk and a sail from Priory Park to Great Barford and back on 14th Sept. Walk as much or a little as you like. Booking required, details can be found nearer the time on our website.

Never walked before and worried about it – try one of our many Well being walks which are shorter, flat and slower. These are running on 11, 12, 13, 14 of Sept. A great introduction to walking!
