Have you got what it takes to win the Whipsnade Zoo Top Trumps crown? This May half-term and beyond, families are invited to the conservation zoo to play the wildest game of giant Top Trumps yet.

From Saturday 27 May to Sunday 2 July, children can face-off against the conservation zoo in the ultimate game of Top Trumps. Discover which animals eat the most, runs the fastest or lives the longest. Would an American flamingo win in a race against an Asian elephant? Can a reticulated giraffe eat more than a common hippo?

Families can grab limited edition super Top Trumps cards - there are three to collect - before exploring the UK’s largest zoo to find giant cards to play against, designed to help youngsters to learn more about the conservation zoo and the endangered animals that live there.

Each oversized Top Trumps card offers children a magical encounter with each species: Families will be challenged to ‘beat the Zoo’ by strategically choosing an animal’s strongest stats to become the the ultimate animal Top Trumps champion. Plus, visitors can enjoy themed talks about the top traits of the featured animals throughout May half-term, helping to inspire the next generation of conservationists to protect the world’s wildlife.

Top Trumps champs can spend the rest of the day exploring the wonders of wildlife at the 600-acre zoo, nestled in the Dunstable Downs. Don’t miss six-month-old reticulated giraffe Wilfred, three young cheetah brothers Freddie, Robyn and Billy, or common hippos, Hodor and Lola.

Get closer to nature with a visit to 10,000 animals at Whipsnade Zoo this May half-term and beyond – a great value day out, the Top Trumps trail is included in the Zoo’s entry price. Book now at https://www.whipsnadezoo.org/
