King Charles III is visiting Luton in Bedfordshire for the first time as monarch on 6th December.
During the trip, he will visit a Sikh soup kitchen and travel on a new airport shuttle. He will meet various community groups at Luton Town Hall, which was opened by the Duke of Kent in 1938. While there it is believed that he will meet members of the public as well as representatives from the local branch of the Royal British Legion and Luton Town Football Academy.
Part of the visit will include a stop at the newly built Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Luton, where he will be speaking to volunteers about the work that they do there, before heading to Luton Sikh Soup Kitchen and the Sikh School. The visit will end with a trip on the new Luton DART system.
