Starting on 2nd December, Dunstable Downs will be hosting several Christmas themed activities and events across the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The National Trust are encouraging people to visit their local natural beauty spots this Christmas and Dunstable Downs is one of those spots. Speaking to reporters, National Trust’s National Programming and Production Manager, said: “Christmas at the National Trust is always magical but this year, we’ve got more events and activities than ever before. We can’t wait to see families and friends coming together, making memories and experiencing the festive atmosphere at the places the National Trust cares for.”
At Dunstable Downs, you can get involved in the following events:
December 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd, from 5pm – 9pm.
Festive music, Christmas crafts and shopping every Friday leading up to Christmas. Prebooking required.
2nd – 23rd December, 10am – 3pm.
The Nutcracker Breakout Trail, an escape room inspired trail where you can find the stolen nuts, solve riddles and claim a prize at the end. No booking required, simply speak to one of the Trust's staff on arrival.
17th – 23rd December, 9.30am – 11.30am.
Festive breakfast with the elves, enjoy breakfast at Dunstable Downs with elves, pre-booking required. Prebooking required.
Guests can also book a Christmas lunch between 5th and 23rd December on weekdays only.
12pm - 2pm, from £14.95 for adults and £7.95 for children - pre-booking required. Turkey or Vegan options available for adults or children. Enjoy a festive lunch at the Chiltern Gateway Centre overlooking the view of the Downs. The restaurant will be decorated for Christmas with themed festive booths.
