Black History Month takes place every October in the UK and this year, you can celebrate at the Hat Factory Arts Centre in Luton.

Starting on 8th October, there are a host of events taking place, including a Black Culture Market featuring local African and Caribbean businesses, theatre performances inspired by the death of George Floyd and conversations about what it means to be Black in Luton.

Films at the Hat Factory will also follow Black History Month with showings of Hidden Figures, Leave it on the Floor and Finding Fela.
