Reddit users have partnered with English Heritage, Trainline, Rough Guides and Air BnB to publish a guide of Britain’s most underrated staycation locations and Bedfordshire has topped the list!

According to the users on Reddit, there is much more to the county than just the airport in Luton and we couldn’t agree more! Citing Wrest Park (pictured) as one of the best places to visit and with research from Trainline and English Heritage to back up the increase in visitors to the region.

The top seven locations is as follows:

Bedfordshire, England
The Highlands, Scotland
Orkney Islands, Scotland
Pembrokeshire, Wales
Gower, Wales
Yorkshire, England
Lancashire, England
