Chart-topping musician from Bedford, Tom Grennan, has announced that he will be kicking off Bedford Park’s summer sessions next year with a homecoming gig on 4th June.

The show will be part of a weekend of music from local promoters LPH Concerts, who run the annual Bedford Park Concert series, with more acts set to be announced shortly. The line up for next year’s Bedford Park  Concerts will be revealed in the next few months.

Announcing the show on his Instagram, Tom Grennan said: “Bedford, I’m coming for you! I’m so excited to be headlining back in my home town. Home is where the heart is and I’m going to give you all the love and energy I can. I can’t wait to perform live for you, it’s going t be one hell of a party. Big Love!”

Tom rose to fame after appearing as a guest vocalist on the song All Goes Wrong by Chase and Status. His first album Lighting Matches was named as one of the bestselling debut albums of that year and his follow up went to number one in the album charts. After a sell out UK tour, he put on a series of intimate shows at Bedford Esquires, which was his local venue as a teenager.
