Dalmatian lovers you need to put 12th September in your diaries as the second annual ‘Dally Rally’ returns to Bedfordshire.

Whether you own a dalmatian or simply love the breed, you are invited to join in the next mass meet up which will take place at Ampthill Park, between Luton and Bedford. The event is organised by Stacey-Jane Matthews from Marston Moretaine and her own dalmatian, Delilah, who love being able to bring local dalmatians together for a day of playing and socialising together. September’s event comes after the success of last year’s meet up, which saw 17 dalmatians, their owners and breed lovers meeting up at the park.

Speaking to reporters, Stacey-Jane said: “You don’t really see dalmatians very often, when I went to pick Delilah up and saw her with her litter of puppies, I felt so much jot from seeing all of their spots together and it’s quite mesmerising. It’s not often that you get to see a bunch of the same breed together, so I started posting around in village Facebook groups with a date for a meet up in Ampthill Park.”

Last year, the group attracted lots of attention from other dog walkers and park users. Stacey-Jane continued: “We had so many people at the park stop to talk to us because it was so great to see a sea of spots all together. Every single person who came up to us interested in what we were all doing. It was quite surreal seeing them altogether.”

At this year’s event on 12th September, dogs are encouraged to run free while owners can socialise.

Stacey-Jane said: “I’m hoping that eventually it’ll be a big event with everyone’s Spotties together. My end goal is to get 101 Dalmatians together.”
