Bedfordshire Whisky Festival will be returning to the Leighton Buzzard Railway again this year on 28th August.

In addition to the usual good quality whisky, there will also be an extended range of gins on offer as part of the festival. It is expected that 60 whiskies, gins, spirits and premixed cocktails will be available on the day for around £1 per taste. There will also be soft drinks and food.

This year’s event will follow the same format of the 2019 festival, following last year’s cancellation because of Covid restrictions.

Speaking to reporters, festival organiser, Rocky Lancer, said: “I’m delighted that the Leighton Buzzard Railway have agreed to host the Bedfordshire Whisky Festival again in 2021. With all the profits being donated to the railway, I’m looking forward to many customers enjoying the day and supporting a good cause at the same time.”

The Bedfordshire Whisky Festival will take place from 10.45am, with the first train departure of the day, unitl 4pm at Page’s Park in the engine shed. Tickets are available here.
