The year 2020 marks the 50th anniversary of Woburn Safari Park, with events taking place all across the year to help celebrate this special occasion. The park first opened on 23rd May 1970 and there will be a whole host of fun, creative things to see and do in the lead up to the big day.

One of the ways that the team at the park is by hosting special events every weekend from the May half term holidays throughout the summer. There will be a chance to meet all your favourite characters and quiz trails with special appearances from Peppa Pig, Paddington, Peter Rabbit and the team from Paw Patrol!

Obviously, there needs to be a big party on the 23rd and the team will be hosting a special celebration complete with performers, activities and plenty of amazing prizes to win!

Since the park opened fifty years ago, there have been over 21 million visitors, so whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time at Woburn, there will be chances to join them for charity fundraising events, celebrations and prizes all year around!
