That's why it's always good to have a break no and again and for those of you who want to take a screen-break, what better way disconnect than to head somewhere tranquil and remote for a ‘digital detox’ holiday? England is home to some incredible rural destinations, from postcard villages to coastal outcrops, craggy moors to lush green forests. Wherever you are there are plenty of rural spots where you can reconnect with nature and disconnect from the WiFi.

HomeToGo searched over 500,000 holiday-rental properties and worked out what percentage of these have ‘access to wifi’ listed and then ranked these spots according to which locations have the highest percentage of properties without a wifi connection.

Out of the fifteen places they ranked, Bedfordshire came in at number 14. The top spot went to Lincolnshire with Shropshire, Staffordshire and Essex taking up the rest of the top five.
