Keepers at Woburn Safari Park in Bedfordshire have announced the arrival of their first baby alpaca – also known as a ‘cria’. The new male, born to mum Lacquer in the new Alpaca Outpost enclosure, has been named Taco.

Spice up your lives, Cardington, because the world’s most famous girlband are in town. The Spice Girls are understood to be rehearsing in Cardington Hangars, ahead of their forthcoming British tour.

Bedfordshire might not be the first place to jump to mind when looking for somewhere to spend a few days but being so close to London and full of beautiful countryside, it is certainly a county that should be high on your list of places to visit.
