Fancy a challenge? Want to help nature? Love to run?

Enjoy a 10k (two laps of the reserve) multi terrain route around The Lodge Nature Reserve, taking in a couple of steep hills.

A running event only, no walkers.

Your entry includes a medal with all money raised supporting the work of the RSPB.

The 10k event will be marked and marshalled with stop watch times. Medals will be awarded to the 1st-3rd male and female runners.

Qualified First Aiders will be on site, including St. John Ambulance.

There will be a maximum of 200 entrants.

On the day, registration will be open between 8:45am and 9:45am to collect your number. The race will commence at 10:00am. There will be a cut off time of 1hr 45 minutes to complete the race. Drive down to the main reception at RSPB HQ to park and register.

There will be manned baggage drop area to leave your belongings but RSPB takes no responsibility for any lost or damaged belongings. Please try to leave valuables at home.

Please do bring friends and family to support you, but please note dogs are only permitted in the car parks and along the bridleway, not on the reserve trails, gardens or around the HQ buildings.

The reserve shop will be open as usual selling hot & cold drinks, as well as a range of snacks after the race.

A reserve date of Sunday 27 February has been allocated in case of cancellation.

Race start time: 10am, registration closes at 9.45am
