Over the weekend of 16th to 18th September St George of England Church is celebrating its 800 year history with a Petal and Purl Festival with displays of Flower Arrangements and Knitted Mannequins depicting church festivals and special moments in the life of the church. These include Christenings/Weddings, a Fruit &Vegetable Garden for Harvest Time, Messy Church and the local Church School.
Refreshments will be available in the Wilkinson Hall where there will also be a number of stalls selling local crafts.
