Walk with a Stone Age Woman

About

Join archaeologist and prehistoric interpreter Kim Biddulph, dressed as a Stone Age woman, on a leisurely 1 mile walk around the Marsh Farm area, taking in 'Wauluds Bank' the site of a prehistoric camp that dates back as far as 3000BC. We will follow a wooded stretch of the River Lea with its clear chalk waters. Discover what the landscape was like when Stone Age people roamed this area, and how local people have lived and travelled since the last Ice Age. Try out some replica Stone Age tools and snacks that our ancestors might have eaten. See our website for booking details - event is free but pre-booking required.
