There will be a great treat in store for G&S fans when 'The Wandering Minstrels'
(www.wanderingminstrels.org.uk) visit Sutton Village Hall in Bedfordshire for
'THE WORLD OF GILBERT AND SULLIVAN' on Saturday 27 April at 7.30pm. They will sing, act and dance their way through many of the Savoy Operas including
'The Gondoliers', 'HMS Pinafore', 'Iolanthe', 'The Mikado', 'Utopia, Ltd', 'The Yeomen of the Guard' and 'The Pirates of Penzance'. Concert tickets are £12.50 and can be obtained by ringing John on 07786 657029. There will be a licensed bar. A light-hearted evening of song and scenes from the Gilbert and Sullivan comic operas, delightfully staged and presented in period costume. Two hours of Savoy favourites, combining the biting wit of W.S.Gilbert and the enchanting music of Sir Arthur Sullivan. Members of the public are advised to purchase their tickets early as space in the Hall is limited and the concert is bound to be very popular. Don't miss what promises to be a fun-filled evening!
