Join us at Stockwood Discovery Centre, where we journey through time as history comes alive.
You can meet characters from pre-Roman times up to WW2 - Tudors, Vikings, Medieval Knights and WW1 characters, including Henry VIII, Queen Victoria and Boudicca.
The festival recreates a glimpse of daily life through a variety of historical scenarios, performances, talks, music and traditional craft demos. There's lots on offer for kids including Knight School, themed art and craft activities, and archery. Leading up to the Festival, the Stockwood Discovery Centre also offers free "Historical Nonsense" craft activities focusing on specific periods of history that are featured over the two days.
