Songs Of My Heart

About

A unique inter-cultural show with contemporary music by a violin-cello duo and Indian classical odissi dance. A rich evening of surprising variety and depth.
Something familiar combined with a novel experience - a well-loved aria of Purcell Lament of Dido is interpreted with the expressiveness of Indian dance.

Kadam Dance present a new work in its first showing in Luton, Songs of the Heart is full of new experiences for adventurous audiences who want to go beyond the known. A show that will be enjoyed equally by dance and music audiences alike.

Running time: 90 minutes including a 20 minute interval

This event compliments the 'Stirring Stillness' art exhibition of dance images at Departure Lounge
