Our Season Premiere will have a unique, celebratory atmosphere throughout, as we mark the momentous occasion of the Coronation of King Charles III, with a once in a generation event at Shuttleworth Collection and Gardens.

With the following day designated a Bank Holiday, treat yourself to a truly special event over the long weekend, with thrills for all, both in the air and on the ground.

Enjoy the incredible spectacle of our historic aircraft taking to the skies in an action-packed, dramatic air display over the Old Warden Aerodrome.  As well as displaying our vast collection of vintage resident aircraft, there will be a wide variety of visiting aircraft taking part from different parts of the UK, including some with links to royalty.

Plenty of other activities will also be available on the ground, with vintage vehicles and hands-on activities for all ages to enjoy, and a celebratory atmosphere throughout.

Explore the Shuttleworth Gardens, including the Regency Swiss Garden with its unique structures, statues and landscapes, as well as our celebrated children’s play area or explore the Hangars of the world-class Shuttleworth Collection. We will also be offering vintage bus rides to Shuttleworth House, offering a unique opportunity to tour this remarkable piece of heritage.
