Join us on Saturday 24 September 2022 or Sunday 25 September 2022 to see a Viking and Saxon Battle. 10am to 5pm.

Entertainment for the day will include:

Combat/weapons displays: The battle plus weapons displays will take place twice each day for approx. 30 mins a time. 

Living history encampment: This will include cooking of period food, tents with displays of weapons, daily living and crafts such as tablet weaving, sewing and leather working. 

A Skalds Saga: We will have our group Skald tell a story from the Norse sagas for children and parents each day. This will be 1 or 2 times per day at approx. 15 mins per time. 

Roleplaying: The Vikings are planning their next move, interrogating the public as to the whereabouts of Saxons and at the last part of the day, a full-on Viking wedding will take place.
