Lemur charity weekend 25th to 27th May at Woburn Safari Park
The Animal Encounters team invite visitors to join them for lots of fun and games, to help raise money for the Association for the Study and Conservation of Lemurs (AEECL) on the bank holiday weekend, 25th - 27th May.
Lemur species are threatened in their natural habitats in Madagascar, and this charity works hard to help protect this species from possible extinction in the future.
AEECL is a charitable organisation run by a consortium of 33 European zoos. Fundraising has helped fund many research programmes into conservation, as well as a community-based project in Sahamalaza which aims to educate local people on how to protect their habitat.
Visitors to Woburn Safari Park can take part in lemur themed fun and games, win a fantastic prize in the raffle and go on a super Mini VIP experience for only £20 a person!
