The Hat Factory hosts some of the UK most celebrated South Asian dancers and performers including Shane Shambhu, Amina Khayyam Dance Company, Kali Chandrasegaram, Bisakha Sarker, and DJ Ritu.
Join Kadam Dance, publishers of the online publication Pulse, for an exploration and celebration of dance, featuring live performance, film, exhibition, workshops and industry networking - topped off with a hip shaking Bollywood party hosted by pioneering international turntablist DJ Ritu (BBC, Club Kali, WOMAD).

The Kadam Pulse Dance Take Over is the culmination of the Banyan Tree project, which traces the growth and flourishing of South Asian dance in the UK from 2000-2020. The 'Take Over' programme is chance for new and emerging artists to hear direct from those at the top their game, and a space for curious audiences to find out what's new and what's next in this globally celebrated dance genre.

The ticket price (£7 / £5) covers the full day. Workshop numbers are limited and attendees can sign up for spaces between 11:00 – 11:15, before the first session.
