Jordans Mill - Spring Wreath Workshop

About

Looking to embrace the joys of Spring?

Join us and to learn how to create from scratch a fresh moss and foliage-based door wreath. Jenny from Hillside Market Garden will be joining us again for a creative seasonal workshop. Many of the materials are grown or foraged from their market garden in Gravenhurst.

Although a full demonstration will be given you will have freedom to choose from a wide selection of materials to create a design that suits your palette.

Materials include twigs, bark, eggs, nests, carrots, rabbits, hessian, dried materials, raffia, seed heads, grasses, carrots and so much more….

We welcome you to bring foraged twigs, bark with lichen or any natural materials that catch your eye on a walk. Textures create some of the best designs so the more inspiration you can have to select from the more you will enjoy the session.

Our classes are intended to be relaxed and you will be encouraged to go at your own pace throughout. All materials, aprons and scissors will be provided but please bring your own secateurs if this is your preferred choice. If you are feeling crafty why not book in for the afternoon table centre workshop as well?

Friday 15th March, 10am - 12.15pm with a 9.45am arrival for prompt 10am start. The cost is £35 per participant which includes a hot drink and your very own Spring Wreath to take home.
