Family Bird of Prey Encounter

Start the Summer with some family fun in the company of our beautiful birds.

We are home to many different species of birds of prey from some of the smallest to the largest, as a family spend some time meeting and handling them. Under the supervision of our falconers come face to face with the beautiful Barn Owl, feel the weight of our Eagles, meet our native Kestrel, fall in love with the Eagle Owl and many more. This is the perfect time to get photos and ask the falconer any questions you may have.

From here you will head out into the flying ground where you are able to experience the flight of the birds. Fly many species of owls as the silently glide into your glove, the swift flight of the hawk and the breath-taking flight of the eagle.

The activity lasts for approximately 2 hours, admission is included so once your activity is over you are welcome to spend the afternoon with us; watch the flying display, head over to the farm and visit the animals, visit the gift shop or stop off for cake in the tea room.

**Please bare in mind that some of the birds included in the activity are heavy and there maybe points where the younger children will need to watch**
