Our Christmas Festival takes place in the Town Centre on Friday 25th until Sunday 27th November 2022. It offers the perfect opportunity to spend time with friends, search for a gift for a loved one and enjoy the entertainment on offer.
The festival begins on Friday evening with the festive market, live music and stage programme, food court and funfair as a backdrop to a spectacular firework display. A local hero nominated by LB First will launch the light switch on and firework display at 7pm.
On Saturday, the Charter Market has festive entertainment throughout along with the funfair and visiting Christmas themed stalls throughout the day.
Sunday sees the return of the festive market to the High Street with crafts and gifts available to purchase alongside festive entertainment, street theatre and musical performances throughout the day. The funfair and food traders also return to the High Street to round off a weekend of festive activities.
