Luton Youth Jazz Orchestra (LYJO) presents a variety of Jazz classics and new discoveries sure to appeal to all in this special concert performed by young and local musicians

Formed in 2002 by Luton Music Service brass teacher, Simon Router, Luton Youth Jazz Orchestra (LYJO) is one of the Music Service's flagship ensembles.

LYJO has been fortunate to work with some exceptional professional musicians. These have included Gordon Goodwin, Clark Tracey, Ian Shaw and Jacqui Dankworth. They have been finalist in the National Festival of Music for Youth in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2014 and have also played in many prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall at the School Proms in 2007 and the Primary Proms in 2014.
