The Grade 1 listed mansion house at Luton Hoo has played host to royalty and dignitaries over the centuries. Painstakingly restored to its former glory, the property stands proudly within magnificent grounds. ADAMS BRASSERIE
Adam’s Brasserie is located in the Country Club at Luton Hoo Hotel and housed within the original stable complex designed by famous 18th-century architect Robert Adam. The restaurant overlooks the courtyard and offers a relaxed atmosphere coupled with an excellent menu featuring stylish, contemporary dishes and familiar favourites made from seasonal and local produce. Adam’s Brasserie is open for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday and on Sundays guests can enjoy a traditional Roast Dinner.
GOLF
Golf has been part of Luton Hoo’s history since the turn of the century, with the estate’s original Victorian 9 hole course. Course designer Mike Smith created the 7,107 yard championship golf course while sympathetically abiding by the lands listed heritage. Golf at Luton Hoo offers a stern test to all levels of golfer, the subtle undulations in the USGA specification greens fit gracefully into the contrasting front and back nines. The front nine offers a unique inland links feel and the back nine meanders through the estates original parkland. Golf at Luton Hoo offers some picturesque, if not testing tee shots, featuring 6 holes with water hazards. The course offers a formidable test of course management to the accomplished golfer, while remaining an enjoyable challenge for the less experienced player.
WEDDINGS
The Grade I-listed Mansion House at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf & Spa boasts period rooms, marble interiors and a converted Russian Orthodox Chapel. It’s without doubt one of most stunning venues in the region and couples choosing to host their special day here won’t be disappointed. Leave the M1 at Junction 10 signposted Luton Airport. Drive along the dual carriageway and take the 1st exit to the left signposted “A1081 St Albans and Harpenden”. Keep bearing left until you get to a roundabout. There are brown signs saying “Luton Hoo” to the left. Take the 1st exit to the left and you will go under the dual carriageway. At the 2nd roundabout take the 2nd exit (straight on) and continue on the A1081 towards St Albans and Harpenden. Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa is approximately ½ mile on the left hand side.
