About

Georgian Grade I listed Award Winning Historic House set in the middle of the Bedfordshire countryside. Over the past fourteen years, it has undergone an extensive restoration programme and has been restored in keeping with the original design of its architect, Sir John Soane - one of the foremost architects of his day (his achievements include designing the Bank of England, interiors of 10 and 11 Downing Street and Dulwich College).

Soane's home in London is now open to the public as a museum. There are 33 acres of parkland and woodland surrounding Moggerhanger House, and they are open all year round. The grounds were originally landscaped by Humphry Repton and many of the original features can still be seen today. The house is open for guided tours on Sundays and Mondays at 2.30pm throughout the year to be pre booked by Friday. Moggerhanger House also offers conference facilities for meetings from 2 to 60 people throughout the year. It is an ideal venue for conferences, promotions, corporate entertainment and other private functions. Moggerhanger House is also licensed to perform wedding ceremonies and accommodates wedding breakfasts and receptions.

The Estate is open from 11am to 5pm each day. Moggerhanger Park for Conferences Weddings and Functions please call 01767 641007 or email enquiries@moggerhangerpark.com. An exhibition centre on site tells the story of Moggerhanger House and its restoration and there is also an 'Abolition of Slavery' exhibition (teaching facility available).
