The Chilterns Gateway Centre has a shop where kites, souvenirs and publications can be purchased. Exhibition about the Downs and surrounding area. Cafe. Site of Specific Scientific Interest and scheduled ancient monument (Five Knolls Bronze Age Burial Mounds and Norman Rabbit Warren). Detailed programme of events throughout the year.

By Road:A505 to Dunstable town centre. Go straight on from double roundabout onto B489 West Street. Go straight across next 2 roundabouts and turn left at the 3rd, B4541 Whipsnade Road. Car park is signposted about a mile along on the right. Free parking to NT Members.By Public Transport:From Luton station it is 6 miles to Dunstable Downs.
