Sitting proudly at the heart of picturesque Woburn Village, you’ll find The Woburn – a charming 18th-century property under the stewardship of the award-winning Oakman Group. The Tavistock Bar offers an extensive drinks menu. Relax with friends and enjoy our range of cocktails, real ales, fine wines, gins, and spirits. Or cosy up by the fire with a cup of coffee and the daily newspaper.
Our restaurant boasts an open kitchen, keeping you right in the action and creating a lovely atmosphere as our chefs prepare your meal right alongside you. Our Mediterranean inspired menu begins with breakfast, brunch and runs right through to the evening. We cater to all with gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan dishes available. Whether you’re tempted by an authentic Neapolitan pizza cooked in our wood-fired oven, tucking into a superb Sunday roast, or stopping by for a light brunch, you’ll find we place great emphasis on the quality and provenance of our ingredients. For families, we have a bespoke children’s menu with a variety of dishes and an activity sheet to keep them entertained.
Part of the Duke of Bedford Estates, The Woburn has 48 hotel rooms plus seven stylish, individually decorated cottages that sit just across the courtyard. There is ample free parking, making this the perfect base to explore famous local attractions such as Woburn Safari Park and Woburn Abbey. Woburn Golf Club, which has hosted The British Masters, is only a decent tee shot away, while the shops of Milton Keynes are within easy reach. We are also ideally placed for travellers flying into or out of London Luton Airport.
We pride ourselves on having a team that puts the guest at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be sure to receive the warmest welcome.
If you’ve been exploring Woburn Abbey, meeting the animals at Woburn Safari Park or just finished 18 holes at Woburn Golf Club, then you’ll probably be looking for a welcoming and comfortable bedroom with all the facilities you’d expect in a top-quality hotel. That’s exactly what The Woburn has to offer.
With 48 well-appointed rooms in the main hotel building, and seven charming cottages in the hotel courtyard, there is something for every guest and budget.
You’ll find complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, flat-screen TVs with Freeview and free wi-fi. If we’ve missed anything, our friendly team will always be on hand to help.
At The Woburn we apply a great level of care and attention to detail with the provenance of our food and drink, using only the finest high-quality ingredients that are traceable and responsibly sourced with our Mediterranean-inspired menu. From farm to fork, our meat and poultry come from British farms. We use Burford Brown eggs in all our brunch dishes and our fluffy Yorkshire puds, and our fish suppliers are all approved by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).
Our kitchen team craft daily specials, showing off the skill and creativity of our chefs. So, if you’re not someone who always sticks to their staple favourites off the main menu, there will always be something new to try.
Our expert pizzaiolos craft genuine Neapolitan pizzas. The 00 flour, tomato sauce and Fior di Latte mozzarella are all sourced from Naples. The dough is proved for longer resulting in a lighter crust. Cooked in our wood-fired oven, every pizza has a unique smokey flavour and is authentically charred, something that is impossible to replicate with a gas or traditional home oven. Find out more about our wood-fired pizzas.
