In June 2011 The Old Piggery opened to welcome visitors to the area. Situated on a working arable farm set along the beautiful Greensand Ridge, the once redundant building was thoughtfully converted into a welcoming, well-appointed bed and breakfast. With gorgeous views over the surrounding fields and countryside, our rooms offer a clean and modern environment in which to relax. In 2014 we added two luxurious yurts which have proved a welcome and successful addition to the accommodation we provide.
The Old Piggery is an ideal base for families, walkers, cyclists and horse-riders to explore the area, and we are surrounded by a wide variety of activities. For those visiting on business, we are perfectly placed for access to both M1 and A1 motorways, plus various rail networks. Milton Keynes and London Luton Airport are also easily reached. We can offer residents longer term parking, e.g. if you are travelling from Luton Airport or by rail, we can arrange transport via one of the local taxi firms.
With so much on offer we hope to see you soon!

The best way to get to The Old Piggery Guest House & Yurts is from the A6, at the top of Wilstead Hill. You will take the turning to Haynes Church End on to Old Main Road and come to a sharp right hand bend. At this point bear left and a small road will bring you to the gated entrance. All our guests receive the gate code via their booking confirmation.
If you are coming from Bedford, you can get a bus from Bedford Bus Station. The bus stops outside the farm and is a short walk to the Piggery. A taxi will cost approximately £15.00 from Flitwick and £20.00 from Bedford. Check www.bedford.gov.uk/transport. You would look for Bedford to Clophill or Flitwick to Wilstead.
