‘Discover the new spring menus at The Waterfront Brasserie’
Two of the region’s most talented young hospitality professionals, chef Leigh Morris and restaurant manager Rickie Kitt, are joining culinary forces to oversee both front and back of house at The Waterfront Brasserie. Both have been classically trained at Cambridge Regional College adding a real resonance to ‘locally’ cooked menus.
Combining superb, freshly prepared food with an excellent wine list and a good selection of beers, it is the perfect place to relax and savour an intimate dinner for two; celebrate a special occasion with family and friends; entertain important business associates or just chill out and enjoy lunch and a beer after a round of golf.
Starters, priced from £4.75, will include smoked haddock and spinach risotto topped with a poached egg, and Thai crab cakes with marinated cucumber and mouli salad accompanied by sweet chilli sauce. Succulent sirloin steak and Chinese style chicken are among the items on the extensive main course menu.
Classic puddings finish off the menu including lemon crème brûlée with shortbread, baked apple streusel tart with vanilla custard, warm chocolate cake with roasted banana ice cream and a Belgian chocolate fondue for two.
